Christ Church Cares Food Pantry
At Christ Church Cares Food Pantry, our mission is to nourish both body and soul by providing compassionate support to those facing food insecurity in Clarke County and beyond. We are dedicated to eradicating hunger through community-driven initiatives, holistic assistance, and educational programs. With a commitment to inclusivity, we strive to create a welcoming environment that empowers individuals and families to overcome challenges associated with limited resources. Through partnerships, advocacy, and a deep sense of social responsibility, we aim to build a resilient community where no one goes hungry, fostering a future where everyone can access nutritious meals and the support needed for a brighter tomorrow.
Christ Church Cares (CCC) is a food pantry based in the historical Bishop's Chapel on the grounds of Christ Episcopal Church in Millwood, Virginia. Since its establishment in February 2010, CCC has served the Clarke County community by providing food, personal care items, and pet food. The pantry operates as a client-choice pantry with open shelves and small grocery carts. Starting with just 16 families, CCC now supports over 60 households, distributing more than 60,000 pounds of food annually.
